Constant Muscle Spasm, vascular changes. Crisis!

I saw K yesterday who said she had never seen me that bad before. I recall in July where K wasn't there, but I had the big vascular incident which then triggered a huge spasm attack. K believes that all the spasming has been initally triggered by the bicycle falling on my left foot one week ago. My body has massively over-reacted to this incident, which wasn't even that serious (soft-tissue bruising at most). The foot is still very painful at one point cuboid and base of 4th and 5th metatarsal. There is no change in the severity of the pain today, but it is still very tender and still no obvious bruising. There is full-range of movement and nothing very obvious to show. I am dancing more or less "normally".

Most signficant is the severity of the spasming in my spine, particularly to the left side. The spasms seem to have travelled further up the spine as well with thoracic on the brink of being effected in addition to lumbar. The spasming is relentless and active in lying prone, supine and seated (to an extent). Nothing K did to me yesterday would stop this and K agreed we needed further help to settle this down. At K's request I rung my GP and was given Diazepam to try and settle the spasming.

In addition to the spasming, I was also having vascular responses and my blood pressure varied significantly during the session and then for an ongoing 24 hour period (although things did settle a bit). There was also a significant difference between the left and right side in terms of body temperature. The left side was cold and clammy compared to the right which was a normal, albeit cool. This had been going on weekend, and is still going on today, although right has been colder today!

I had to go to the chemist to pick up the Diazepam and I had trouble standing long in the chemists and then felt horrendously fatigued and had to go to bed when I got home. My neck feels terrible today and the whole area is locked. Vascularly something feels "trapped" as if the blood is trapped in my head. This is what happened when I had the vascular incident in July. My right pecs/chest feel so nasty I am finding it difficult to inhale properly.

This is all very difficult for me to cope with at the moment. I have a lot of work to do and so much I want to do and achieve. I am doing the very best I can, but I am seriously working against the odds just at the moment. I have a Rheumatology appointment on Tuesday, but this whole situation is now getting beyond a joke. I don't understand what is going on, but it is not going away. So far Diazepam has not done very much!
